Michael receives an award from the Guinness Book of World Records for selling 25 million of ‘Thriller;’ more than any other album in history. The event is held in front of 15,000 guests at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Natural History. On receiving the award Michael said “I’ve always wanted to do great things and achieve many thing. But for the first time in my entire career, I feel like I’ve accomplished something because I’m in the Guinness Book of World Records”.
