During an interview with Karen Hunter for her YouTube channel, Nelson George, who has directed and created the “Thriller 40” Documentary, made a brief comment on its possible release date. All he said was:

“The Estate had me do a….erm….I did a 40th Anniversary documentary on the making of “Thriller” that’ll be out toward the end of the year”

Vague and nondescript. However at least it doesn’t sound like the project has been shelved!
