Fans propose new artwork and start a petition
The uproar over the Thriller 40 album artwork continues to explode across the internet, despite the Estate’s tries to dampen it. Fans have gone so far to even start a petition on change.org, though in its first 24 hours it’s been slow to pickup signatures.
Other fans have gone out of their way to create their own artwork and propose to use it, or something similar, to replace the existing artwork:
It’s fair to note that as the album won’t ship until November, it’s likely we’re some time away before physical copies are created, leaving plenty of time for change to happen!
